so i'm thinking right now what would make me feel better at this moment. assuming i didn't have to stay at work. well, painting. painting the hall for danielle. or painting a canvas. painting something. going for a hike like i did yesterday. a leisurely amble where my mind can wander.

ahh, but the patient just unexpectedly arrived and now no one will be going home early. i'll keep those ideas in my pocket for later. for now i suppose i'll get some of this work done.
