well, we certainly have the rain now. after days of complacent clouds and brooding skies, the heavens have ripped open with a fury. water gushing down the streets in rivers. angry driver laying on the horn...and will not let off. i would snipe him from my office window if i could. how unecessary is it to honk for a full 90 seconds? he/she must have troubles at home. the lights inside flicker and tempt me to daydream of a power outage. if i could be so lucky! oh but i'm sure there is some work here that doesn't require electricity. damn.

mother nature was holding out. she got good and ready for this storm. it will fill the reservoirs and green the hills. yum. with tilden in my backyard, i will have a beautiful spring.
