i have managed to turn my three day weekend into a four day mini holiday. it will be the closest thing i have to a vacation for awhile - this is what i get for working for an office where i'm the only one running the ship.

as a last minute splurge, i booked a room at the clift tonight. oh what fun!! i love hotels. i love room service. and it'll be particularly brilliant because i'll be able to stay away from the house of horrors. i will get filthy drunk this evening and fall carelessly into a downy bed in the wee hours of friday morning.

i am not even thinking about money. if a certain someone can go on a two week holiday to the Med with my minime and only have to work part time and not contribute, then I can sure as fuck take a night to myself in the city.

it will boost morale for further house hunting. it will calm my nerves to get away; how ever close, how ever brief.

i will hopefully insight a drunken brawl in the redwood room.
