it is finally friday!

yesterday afternoon baby boy and i took off early and went to see his sort of grandparents. they were so happy to see us, and us them. i brought flowers from our garden - jasmine, camelias, and some purpley ones i don't know the name of.

it had been too long since we had gone to visit. it was nice to be in a place that felt like home. they are such joyous people.

i can't believe my dad - not even inviting us to easter, just going off and making other plans without us. grrr. at least my mom tried to arrange to have us come visit her, even if we weren't able to pull it off.

maybe i'll go to target at lunch and get that basket for baby boy. three brief weeks left until he goes back to england. we'll have to make the most of it.
